Qingtao Ji's Innovative Design Marries Deconstructionism and Natural Integration

The Sunac Shanxiao Sales Center is designed for a clientele of social elites with a higher education background. To cater to this demographic, Ji has infused the space with a unique blend of Chinese and Western cultures, creating an aesthetic that is both fashionable and literary. The design concept of deconstruction is introduced in a moderate manner, with geometric forms and linear elements used extensively throughout the space.

Located at the highest peak of Nanshan Scenic Spot, the sales center is a two-story glass box that offers visitors panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, springs, and clouds. The interior space is almost completely open, with functional areas such as the reception area, tea room, and negotiation area arranged near the window to allow visitors to experience the beautiful landscape from all angles.

The color palette for the space is a mix of yellow, black, and white, creating an elegant and atmospheric brand image. A two-story polygonal metal frame is built within the interior, with thousands of translucent metal wires installed to create a layer of constantly changing artistic rendering between the real natural beauty and human's subjective feeling. This device, devoid of any functions, expresses rich space changes and forms the biggest feature of the project.

The project, which spans a construction area of 800 square meters, was completed in October 2019. The design process involved a moderate combination of modernism design technique and deconstruction design idea, with geometric forms and lines used to create a unique artistic atmosphere in the space. The result is an impressive sense of space that allows for communication between man and nature, integrating the original ecological environment with modern living space.

The Sunac Shanxiao Sales Center is a testament to Qingtao Ji's innovative approach to design, marrying deconstructionism and natural integration to create a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020, a testament to its outstanding design and innovation.
